Extensive experience teaching professional writing in traditional academic and community education contexts. Workshops focus on creating working drafts designed to be completed more easily on one’s own. Workshop participants are asked to prepare certain things beforehand for the best results.

    • Additional 15-minute Q&A and feedback.

    • 90-minute workshop on locating one’s voice and drafting a cover letter that stands out.

Academic & Research Writing

Along with my publishing experience in academic and research writing, I have over 15 years of experience teaching academic and research writing in traditional academic and community education contexts. I’ve mentored students throughout the research process, from inception to final manuscript. This service is one-on-one only.

Creative Writing Workshops

Creative writing workshops are limited to 6 participants and are held over a weekend in 90-minute sessions. Special topics of interest include processing societal trauma, like racism, cultivating authentic voice, and healing through cathartic writing. More details and dates to follow soon!
